  1. Please put in number of servings in your recipes. Also, approximate cooking time. Even though you cook to temp, it is nice to be able to plan one’s cooking.

  2. Recipe looks great and I will try. Couldn’t you have given us the approximate time required to steam? Like maybe 25 or so minutes. I do t plan to get another probe just for what I can easily quick check.

    1. Ha ha! I get that! Though if you need a reason to go through with the purchase, remember that it will make cooking them easier, for sure, and then you can do so many more dumplings, too.

  4. Fantastic recipe! Tried as an appetizer and family loved them so much and we ate so many that we didn’t get to the entree. Did one batch for 12 minutes and one for 15 in electric steamer. 12 minutes were more moist but some parts of the rice were a bit undercooked. 15 minutes were a little drier but still moist and all of the rice was fully cooked and tender.
